What is a Hospice?

Hospice is a special kind of care for patients, who have a life limiting condition.

Hospice Service

Hospice includes regular nurse visits, social services, spiritual and emotional support for the patient and care givers, 24 hour phone assistance, volunteer services and coordination of care with their physician.

Qualifications

Individuals with a medical prognosis of six months or less and have chosen to no longer receive curative treatment are eligible.
