Cancer Overview
Cancer is a group of many related diseases that begin in cells, the body's basic building blocks.
Bladder Cancer
Cancer that forms in tissues of the bladder (the organ that stores urine).
Breast Cancer
Breast cancer can begin in different parts of the breast, like the ducts or the lobes.
Colon and Rectal Cancer
Colon cancer is a disease in which malignant (cancer) cells form in the tissues of the colon.
Endometrial Cancer
Most endometrial cancers are adenocarcinomas (cancers that begin in cells that make and release mucus and other fluids).
Kidney Cancer
Kidney cancer includes renal cell carcinoma and renal pelvis carcinoma.
Leukemia
Cancer that starts in blood-forming tissue such as the bone marrow and causes large numbers of blood cells to be produced and enter the bloodstream.
Melanoma
A form of skin cancer that begins in melanocytes (the cells that make the pigment melanin).
Prostate Cancer
Cancer that forms in tissues of the prostate (a gland in the male reproductive system found below the bladder and in front of the rectum).
Skin Cancer
Cancer that forms in tissues of the skin.
